About Stern Hall

Stern Hall is an upperclass Stanford residence hall near the engineering quad, a traditional corridor building with communal bathrooms and natural ventilation. Named for Abner and Rosalie Meyer Stern. Stern has a strong community culture and is popular with engineering and CS students due to its proximity to Gates, Packard, and Terman buildings. Hosts the Stern Center, a social hub for residents.
