Residence Hall A was the first purpose-built residence hall at Farmingdale State College, opening in 2007 as the cornerstone of the campus's residential expansion. The four-floor building offers suite-style housing where students share semi-private bathrooms within four-person suites. Air conditioning, in-building laundry facilities, and a dedicated common lounge make it a comfortable choice for first-year students beginning their college experience. Residential life programming and peer mentors are based in the building throughout the academic year.
