About Hobby Hall

Hobby Hall is a suite-style residence hall at Texas A&M in the Southside residential area. Named for Oveta Culp Hobby, the first commanding officer of the Women's Army Corps and first Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare — a Texas icon. Suite-style rooms with semi-private bathrooms and full air conditioning. Hobby Hall is one of the Southside cluster halls designed to provide modern residential amenities within the A&M system.
