Doak Hall is a co-ed residence hall in the south campus cluster, separated into gendered wings with communal bathrooms serving each side. The hall is named in honor of a Texas Tech benefactor and has housed generations of Red Raider freshmen since its construction. Rooms are double occupancy with the standard TTU furniture package. Doak's location places residents within easy walking distance of the Engineering complex and academic core, making it especially popular among incoming engineering and science students.
