About Cook Hall

Cook Hall is one of Trinity's first-year residence halls, offering corridor-style living with communal all-gender bathrooms per floor. Like most of Trinity's historic residential buildings, Cook has no central AC — Hartford's Connecticut climate means the September arrival is warm but manageable, and the academic year from October onward rarely needs cooling. The corridor layout with shared bathrooms is the classic Trinity first-year experience, with Resident Assistants (RAs) assigned to each floor and a strong orientation toward community-building. Laundry is available within the building. First-year students placed in Cook are part of the large cluster of students who live in the traditional corridor halls near the academic heart of campus.
