About Scott Barracks

Scott Barracks is one of the historic cadet barracks at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Named after General Winfield Scott, a celebrated West Point graduate and hero of the Mexican-American War, Scott Barracks houses cadets in the traditional corridor style characteristic of the Academy's gothic stone architecture. Cadets in Scott Barracks share in the long tradition of leadership and service that West Point has provided the nation since 1802.
