About Quaker Square Inn

Quaker Square Inn is one of the most architecturally distinctive residence halls in the country, housed inside the historic cylindrical silos of the former Quaker Oats factory complex. The round rooms — each a cross-section of the original grain storage silos — are completely unique and have made Quaker Square a beloved landmark on the Akron campus and a popular destination for visitors. Students living in Quaker Square enjoy a one-of-a-kind living space with curved walls, along with access to the Quaker Square retail and dining facilities at the base of the silos. The complex is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
