About Sierra Hall (Mesa Court)

Sierra Hall is one of Mesa Court's classic residence halls (Mesa Road building 4015 on UCI Housing's Mesa Court map) and home to the Sierra program — UCI Housing's theme page: "Sierra is a one-of-a-kind, living-learning community located within Mesa Court. All residents of Sierra Hall are enrolled each quarter in 'University Studies 21 A/B/C: Critical Thinking, Ethics and Just Communities,' a one credit class, for the entire academic year." The in-hall class builds conflict-resolution, active-listening and problem-solving skills; the program has a network of over 2,400 alumni.
