[Hyde Park — Inside Burton-Judson Courts] Coulter House is one of the four houses in Burton-Judson Courts, occupying the southeast wing of the 1932 Gothic complex. About 100 students. Strong intramural sports culture and competitive Scavenger Hunt presence. Coulter is known for its annual Halloween haunted-house event open to the rest of campus. UChicago students are assigned to a house for their entire 4-year undergraduate career; house affiliation persists in the alumni network.
