About University of Dayton

The University of Dayton is a private Catholic research university in Dayton, Ohio, founded in 1850 by the Marianist order. One of the largest Catholic universities in the United States, UD is known for its strong engineering, business, and education programs as well as its uniquely residential campus culture. The "student neighborhood" — a cluster of historic houses adjacent to campus — is a beloved part of UD life. The Flyers compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
