The Illinois Street Residence Halls (ISR) is one of UIUC's largest residential complexes, housing approximately 2,200 students in several interconnected buildings along Illinois Street. Traditional corridor doubles with communal bathrooms. ISR has its own dining hall, computer lab, study rooms, music practice rooms, and a convenience store. Known for its enormous sense of community and centrality to campus life.
