About North Spencer Hall

North Spencer Hall is one of the oldest and historically longest residence halls in the country, opened in 1904 and running along College Avenue's west side at UNC Greensboro. It houses first-year members of the Lloyd International Honors College in rooms that are notably spacious for a traditional-style building. North Spencer is air-conditioned — unusual for UNCG's older corridor halls. The two-story structure is attached to South Spencer Hall, which opened in 1907.
