The University of San Diego (USD) is a private Catholic research university on a 180-acre Spanish Renaissance-architecture campus in San Diego, California, founded in 1949. With about 5,800 undergraduate and 3,200 graduate students, USD is best known for business (Knauss), law, peace and justice studies (the Kroc School), and engineering.
