About Jester Center

Jester Center is one of the largest residence halls in the United States, housing approximately 3,000 students across two towers (Jester East and Jester West) connected by a large common base. Traditional corridor-style doubles with communal bathrooms. Jester has its own dining hall (one of UT's largest), a convenience store, a post office, and a health clinic in-building. The scale of Jester gives it a distinct community feel — almost a small college within a college. Very popular with first-years for its central location on the Drag.
