The University of Texas at San Antonio, founded in 1969, is a public research university serving the San Antonio metropolitan area. With about 34,000 students, UTSA is one of the largest universities in Texas and is recognized for its cybersecurity, engineering, business, and public health programs. The main campus is in the northwest San Antonio suburbs, and UTSA has grown rapidly in residential living as the university builds out its campus experience.
