Valdosta State University is a public comprehensive university in Valdosta, Georgia, serving as the educational and cultural anchor of South Georgia. Founded in 1906 as Georgia Normal College, VSU has grown into a regionally accredited institution offering more than 100 undergraduate degree programs and graduate and doctoral programs across arts, business, education, sciences, health professions, and nursing.
