Lake House is an upperclass-only residence perched at the edge of Lake Waban, offering some of the most peaceful and picturesque views on campus — swans, boats, and the boathouse. The building houses the Sustainability and Feminist Cooperatives and is known for its exceptionally large communal kitchen on the first floor, the most spacious of any residence hall at Wellesley, where Res Life regularly hosts community baking classes. Its intimate scale and lakeside setting give Lake House a distinct, retreat-like atmosphere.
