Welch Hall is one of three buildings in Westfield State's Apartment Complex, built in 1975 and renovated in 2000–2001. The building faces Scanlon Hall and primarily houses graduate students alongside some upperclass undergraduates. The building is part of the horseshoe arrangement with Conlin and Seymour Halls, sharing a central courtyard. Graduate students and advanced undergraduates live in 6-person apartment units with shared kitchens.
