About Ballard Hall

Ballard Hall is a historic women's residence at Whitworth University built in 1915 (rebuilt 1927 after fire), housing 62 primarily junior and senior women with some rooms reserved for first-year students. Named for trustee W.R. Ballard, it is described as "comfortable, homey and peaceful" and positioned between athletic fields and the chapel with views of the Pine Bowl. Offers doubles, singles, and triples. The building's historic character gives Ballard a distinctive identity within Whitworth's residential community. No air conditioning.
