About Hitchcock House

[West Campus] Built in 1927 and thoroughly renovated in 2009, Hitchcock House is a local historic landmark overlooking the Amherst Town Common. The 2009 renovation brought it up to modern standards while preserving its landmark exterior. Pod-style housing gives residents more bathroom privacy than corridor dorms. The Town Common views are among the most picturesque on campus.
