About Valentine Hall

Valentine Hall is a corridor-style residence hall at Amherst College. Its first floor housed the college’s main dining hall for more than 80 years, until dining moved to Betty’s Kitchen in the Ford Student Center in August 2026; floors 2–3 are residential. Known as a quiet, substance-free hall, it offers co-ed housing with communal bathrooms.
