[North Campus (The Hill)] Built in 1929, Marsh House is on the Hill and doubles as the Marsh Arts House — one of Amherst's most beloved theme communities. Dedicated to student artists, it provides a supportive working atmosphere for visual artists, musicians, writers, and performers. While the Hill location is challenging, the creative community is transformative for many residents. Arts studios and dedicated creative spaces are a major draw.
