About Porter House

[North Campus (The Hill)] Built in 1916 and renovated in 2007, Porter House on the Hill is home to the German Language House theme community. Residents commit to speaking German in common areas and participate in Kaffeeklatsch — weekly cultural gatherings mixing conversation, coffee, and German culture. Open to German learners and native speakers alike. The 2007 renovation modernized the building significantly.
