About Kalperis Hall

Kalperis Hall, named for Elizabeth Kalperis Chu '80, opened in 2016 at 65 Campus Avenue as one of Bates's newest and most modern residences, housing approximately 110 students across multiple floors. The building features floor-by-floor common spaces, all-gender bathrooms with PIN-based room access, and a full kitchen on the fourth floor alongside "The Tree House" lounge with a double-sided fireplace and panoramic campus views. The second floor is designated for first-year students; Kalperis and neighboring Chu Hall are the only Bates residences with central air conditioning.
