The Gateway Residence Center comprises five buildings — Roser Hall, Malesardi Hall, Kalman-Posner Hall, Vidinghoff Hall, and Silbermann Hall — completed in 1986. Each floor contains four apartment-style suites housing four students, with each resident having their own private bedroom (approximately 7 by 11 feet). Each suite is furnished with a shared living room, a full kitchen with stove, oven, and full-sized refrigerator, and a bathroom with two sinks and shower. In-building laundry is available. Accessible first-floor units are available for students with mobility needs. The Gateway buildings are a popular choice for upperclassmen seeking apartment-style independence while remaining in campus housing.
