Stark Hall is one of the three South Quad tower buildings — the tallest structures in Claremont — housing up to 84 residents in air-conditioned single and double rooms across multiple floors. Each floor has shared bathroom and shower facilities, and most floors are single-gender; the third floor is gender-inclusive. The first-floor lounge is a lively common space featuring a piano and a pool table. Stark is CMC's substance-free living community, meaning residents agree not to bring alcohol, tobacco, or other controlled substances into the building — a choice that draws students who prioritize a calmer residential environment. Views from the upper floors take in the surrounding Inland Valley.
