Read House is one of four connected houses — with Brigham, Shepardson and Whitnall — that make up Colgate's 113 Broad Street Complex within Hancock Commons, at 113 Broad Street. Rooms are singles and doubles within suites whose bedrooms share a bathroom, and each house has an all-gender restroom in its second-floor lounge. As part of Hancock Commons it houses first-year and sophomore students.
