About Brown House

Brown House is one of Duke's East Campus first-year houses, a historic Gothic corridor building with double rooms and communal bathrooms. No air conditioning. Named for one of Duke's early supporters. Brown House is part of the East Campus residential community that all Duke first-year students join — a nationally recognized first-year experience centered on community-building in a beautiful historic setting.
