Hutcheson Hall is one of John Brown University's two primary co-ed suite-style residence halls, housing approximately 186 students across four floors. Named in honor of JBU supporters, Hutcheson offers suite configurations in which residents share a bathroom within their suite rather than using hallway-level communal facilities. The building accommodates both men and women on separate floors, with suites typically housing four students. All rooms have central air conditioning. Common areas include floor lounges and study spaces. Hutcheson is popular with first- and second-year students seeking the community of a traditional residence hall with the added privacy of suite-style bathrooms.
