About Dravo House

Dravo House, completed in 1948, is Lehigh University's largest single residential facility. This five-story stone edifice is named after brothers Ralph M. Dravo (Class of 1889) and Francis F. Dravo (Class of 1887), prominent industrialists and alumni. The building follows a traditional corridor-style layout with singles and doubles on each floor sharing community bathrooms. With its large capacity, Dravo tends to have a lively, social atmosphere — there is always something going on. Common areas on each floor include study spaces, and the building has lounges, a kitchen, and laundry in the basement. Because of its size, Dravo offers residents plenty of opportunities to meet fellow first-years. The downside students often note is the communal bathrooms; the upside is the great location near the main academic quad and dining.
