Claver Hall is a traditional first-year residence hall on the Evergreen campus, housing approximately 200 freshmen in corridor-style rooms with gender-designated communal bathrooms. Named after St. Peter Claver, a Jesuit priest known for his ministry to enslaved Africans, the hall carries a spirit of service and community consistent with Loyola's Jesuit mission. First-year residents benefit from a close-knit floor community, proximity to academic buildings, and active Resident Assistant programming throughout the year.
