Harvey House is Oberlin's Spanish-language and cultural immersion house, part of the Language Houses program. Operated through the Oberlin Student Cooperative Association (OSCA), Harvey houses approximately 20–30 students interested in Spanish language practice and Latin American, Spanish, and Latinx cultural programming. Residents commit to speaking Spanish in common areas and participate in cultural events, cooking nights featuring Latinx cuisines, and conversation tables. As an OSCA co-op, the house operates on a labor model with shared cooking and cleaning duties, keeping costs below traditional on-campus housing. Harvey has strong ties to Oberlin's broader Latinx student community.
