About Tingelstad Hall

Tingelstad Hall is PLU's largest residence hall at nine floors — the tallest building in the Parkland area — housing first-year, transfer, and returning students primarily in identical double rooms, with Mount Rainier views from upper floors. Organized into two-floor "houses," each with its own lounge, communal kitchen, study rooms, ping pong and foosball tables, and TV lounge. Home to STEM House, DJS House, and Becoming a Lute / Lutes in Community LLCs. No air conditioning — PLU buildings rely on Puget Sound's mild climate.
