About Geary Hall

Geary Hall is one of Penn State's 16 East Halls residence halls, named for John White Geary, 20th Governor of Pennsylvania and the first mayor of San Francisco. Traditional corridor-style first-year housing with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning. Part of the large East Halls cluster, one of Penn State's primary first-year residential communities.
