About Ladd

Ladd is one of the eight residence halls of Reed College's historic Old Dorm Block, a Tudor-style building constructed in 1912 and remodeled in 1992. Renamed in 1935 for William M. Ladd, who donated the initial land gift for Reed College and chaired its board of regents from 1919 to 1931. Traditional corridor-style rooms with communal bathrooms; many rooms feature fireplaces, balconies, or window seats.
