SUNY Potsdam is a public university in Potsdam, New York, in the rural North Country region of upstate New York. Founded in 1816 as the St. Lawrence Academy, it is one of the oldest institutions in the SUNY system. Total enrollment is roughly 3,000 with about 2,700 undergraduates.
