MacArthur Barracks is named in honor of General Douglas MacArthur, Class of 1903 and one of West Point's most celebrated graduates. The barracks provides traditional cadet corridor-style housing in the gothic granite style characteristic of the West Point campus. Cadets in MacArthur Barracks are surrounded by the history and traditions of America's oldest service academy, with views of the Hudson River and Trophy Point.
