Pershing Barracks is a Central Area barracks complex at the United States Military Academy, named for General of the Armies John J. Pershing, who commanded the American Expeditionary Forces in World War I. The corridor-style building is one of several barracks complexes arrayed around the Central Area quad, housing cadets in double- and triple-occupancy rooms with communal bathrooms. In-building laundry facilities, study areas, and a dayroom are available to residents. Like all USMA cadet housing, assignment to Pershing Barracks is determined by military company and class year rather than individual preference.
