About Yuma Hall

Yuma Hall is one of the Sonora Residential District buildings at UA, named for the city of Yuma on Arizona's western border. Part of the landmark 1960s ziggurat terrace complex designed by Friedman & Jobusch Architects. Suite-style rooms with semi-private bathrooms and the terraced outdoor spaces characteristic of the Sonora District. One of the most architecturally distinctive dormitory complexes in the American Southwest.
