About Gila Hall

Gila Hall is one of the Sonora Residential District ziggurat-style buildings at UA, named for the Gila River — one of Arizona's most historically significant waterways. Like the other Sonora District buildings, Gila Hall uses the distinctive terraced architecture designed by Friedman & Jobusch in the 1960s. Suite-style rooms with semi-private bathrooms. The terraced design creates large outdoor living spaces for each floor.
