About Dykstra Hall

Dykstra Hall is one of UCLA's Classic first-year residence halls on The Hill, a traditional corridor tower that opens to The Hill's central plaza area. Named for Clarence Dykstra, UCLA's first Provost. Double rooms with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning. Dykstra is one of the more central Classic halls and is home to the Hill Commons dining facility in its lower floors. Its central location makes it convenient for getting to class and dining but also means it can be one of the livelier buildings on The Hill.
