Eighth College is UCSD's newest residential college, opened in fall 2023, with a curriculum focused on "Engagement & Community." It is the eighth and (as of 2024) final planned residential college. Eighth College's residence halls are the most recently constructed on campus, featuring modern suite-style rooms with updated amenities and finishes. The college is designed to serve students interested in civic engagement and community-centered careers.
