McIver Residence Hall is one of UNC's North Campus corridor halls, named for Charles Duncan McIver, the founding president of what is now UNC Greensboro and a champion of women's education in North Carolina. Traditional corridor-style rooms with communal floor bathrooms, no air conditioning. Located on historic North Campus near the original campus buildings and Wilson Library. Primarily upperclass housing.
