Gannon/Lavis/MacKillop Hall (GLM) is one of the University of Scranton's first-year corridor residence halls. All rooms are furnished double-occupancy with Twin XL beds, desks, dressers, and wardrobes or built-in closets. Bathrooms are shared communal facilities on each floor. The building has no central air conditioning (fans are permitted). Residents enjoy free high-efficiency laundry, lounge areas with TVs, wireless internet throughout, and light housekeeping. First-year students are assigned to these halls as part of the university's required freshman residency. GLM is a three-section connected complex — one of the largest first-year residential communities at Scranton. Rooms feature built-in bookshelves. The complex houses many of the largest first-year cohorts and has a strong community floor culture.
