About Carothers Hall

Carothers Hall is one of University of Texas's larger traditional corridor residence halls, part of the main residential cluster north of the Drag. Named for Robert Lee Carothers, UT's first Dean of Students. Air-conditioned double rooms with communal floor bathrooms. Carothers is primarily a first-year hall and serves as one of the main entry points into UT's residential community, with strong programming and community events.
