Duren Hall is the University of Texas's suite-style upperclass residence hall, named for Virginia Duren, a longtime UT Housing staff member. Duren offers a step up from the traditional corridor halls — suite configurations with semi-private bathrooms and air conditioning in a more modern building. Located near the main residential cluster, Duren is popular with continuing students who want to stay on campus but in a more private setting than the first-year corridor halls. One of UT's most popular upper-division housing options.
