About Marshall Hall

Marshall Hall is a traditional corridor-style residence hall built in 1969 and named after Elder W. Marshall, a former member of W&J's board of trustees. The hall accommodates approximately 128 students in a mix of first-year and upperclass co-ed housing across multiple floors. Rooms are arranged in a jack-and-jill suite configuration, with four students sharing one community bathroom between two adjacent rooms. Marshall's location in the central part of campus, close to academic buildings and the student union, makes it one of the more conveniently positioned residential halls on the W&J campus. The traditional corridor layout fosters the spontaneous floor-community interactions that many students credit as forming their closest campus friendships.
