Wade House is a late-nineteenth-century Victorian mansion on the periphery of W&J's campus, acquired by the college in 1986 and renovated in 2007 (with windows replaced in 2008). The building houses upperclass women in a distinctive residential setting quite different from the standard corridor and suite halls that make up most of W&J's housing inventory. The Victorian architecture provides character-rich common spaces and varied room configurations. The semi-private bathroom arrangement and house-style layout give residents more privacy than most other W&J options.
