Penn House is one of W&J's smaller residential options, located between Marshall Hall and the Chestnut Street Housing complex, housing approximately 16–17 students across three floors in double-occupancy rooms. Residents share community bathrooms located in the hall. The small scale of Penn House creates an unusually intimate living environment — students often describe Penn as having more of a house feel than a traditional dormitory, with residents naturally becoming a tight-knit group. Penn House participates in W&J's broader residential community programming and is an option in the upperclass room draw for students who prefer a smaller, quieter residential experience.
