About Tower Court East

Tower Court East is one of Wellesley College's first-year residence halls, part of the Tower Court complex that sits at a prominent location in the center of campus. The building houses approximately 90–110 first-year students in a traditional corridor-style layout with communal all-gender bathrooms per floor. Like all Wellesley buildings, Tower Court East has no central air conditioning — first-year students arrive in September when temperatures are already moderating, and the New England fall and winter make this a minor inconvenience at most. The Tower Court location is central to campus social life, within short walking distance of the main dining facilities, the Science Center, and the library. The complex's signature tower architecture is one of the most photographed features on the Wellesley campus.
